This album is a mixture of new songs and unreleased tracks from the archives, some of which date back to around 2006/07.

The covers were all recorded before the previous album, The Forgotten Art Of Saying No, to test new recording equipment, to challenge myself to recreate sounds and push my playing and my voice into areas I may not have been before. It was a valuable lesson as some of the sounds and techniques learned during that process fed into songs both on The Forgotten Art... and this album.
